We have a confession to make. While we think Stephen Sondheim is a genius - without question - we find his body of work to be hit or miss.

Some of his musicals are epic and timeless classics. While we find some others difficult to sit through. That was the case with our last Sondheim experience, when we saw the awful revival of Company on Broadway. We loved Raul Esparza in that revival, but we did not like the production - nor are we a fan of the show.

We'd never seen Follies before, so we weren't quite sure what to expect when we caught it Friday night on Broadway. THANKFULLY, we loved it!

Sure, the first act starts off very slowly, but once the stakes raise and the emotions intensify, it quickly became a very gripping show! And the music! Wow! Some of Sondheim's best work!

I'm Still Here, Broadway Baby, and In Buddy's Eyes - to name a few!

And, WOW, did this production feature an all-star cast! Bernadette Peters was fabulous! That voice is like honey! And STILL flawless! She told us backstage she doesn't smoke or even drink - and you could tell! She really protects her precious instrument and her voice is still something to be experienced!

Elaine Paige was fabulous, but her role is very supporting.

The real revelation in this production was Jan Maxwell. We'd never seen her in anything before and weren't familiar with her, but we are now obsessed! Wow! Wow! Wow! She was soooooooo good!

Shia LaBeoufs Bar Fight: Grow Up Already!

Another Shia LaBeouf bar fight. This time around, the skirmish happened over the weekend while the Transformers star was in Vancouver, where he’s currently filming ‘The Company You Keep’, the Robert Redford directed flick co-starring Anna Kendrick and Stanley Tucci. Check out the video of Shia getting a beat down below. LaBeouf has been frequenting Cinema Public House, a local restaurant/bar since he began filming, and apparently he was there yet again on Thursday morning. an An eyewitness told Gossip Cop that another bar goer ‘said something stupid’ to LaBeouf, and as we all know, the actor has a short temper. The source went on to say that the two were ‘really drunk’. They eventually were told to leave the premises, and once outside, the other guy started beating up on LaBeouf . As you can see in the video below provided by TMZ, others were trying to break up the scuffle, but the source said LaBeouf ‘thought a lot of people [on the street] were attacking him, but the other people were trying to help’. Soulja Boys Arrest Could Help Movie Release

Rapper Soulja Boy found himself riding in the back of a police car this week after the car he was riding in was pulled over. Unfortunately for him, what could have been a minor ticket turned into a major problem. He first became famous for an original song that included a new dance. The track and the dance swept the hip-hop world, even though it was ridiculously simple. After that he kind of disappeared. Until now. All of a sudden he is in the news again, but this time it’s not for his music. The 21-year-old was riding (or driving) in a car that had a missing taillight. Police in Carroll County Georgia pulled over the vehicle for a routine stop, but said they smelled marijuana. After that they decided to search the car, which turned up a gun and a large amount of pot and cash. Soulja Boy is being charged with possession with intent to distribute, and even a weapons charge. It sounds a lot like what happened to Lil Wayne. NBC is pulling out all the stops for their new show Grimm and that includes using the social media tool Twitter. Those who follow NBC’s Grimm will get to see the entire pilot episode now, sweet sign me up!
